ARE you in a band, a magician, or maybe even a ventriloquist? Do you think you're any good?

Young people with any kind of talent are being urged to take part in a competition at Redditch's Palace Theatre.

As part of Redditch Has Talent, the theatre is looking for 12 to 15 acts featuring young people aged 10 to 18-years-old.

There is no restriction on the talent, it can range from anything from singing and playing a musical instrument to acrobats and being a stand up comic.

Young people are being encouraged to take part in audition, before a live final is held later this year.

A spokesman from the Palace Theatre said: "We really hope that this can become an annual event at the theatre as we know there are a wealth of talented young people in Redditch.

"If you have a talent we want to see it."

Auditions, held at the theatre, take place on March 4 between 4pm and 6pm and on March 5 between 4pm and 8pm.

Each act will have a maximum of five minutes to perform.

The finals of the competition take place at the theatre on June 25.
