FAMILIES and fitness fans are invited to support St Richard’s Hospice at the charity's annual ‘Scenic Six’ village run on Sunday, March 29.

This popular annual fundraising event features a six mile multi-terrain run and two mile fun run/walk around the lanes, fields and footpaths of the village of Peopleton.

St Richard's Hospice Community Fundraiser Lizzie Brazier, said: "This is a great family event which is suitable for people of all ages. Whether you’re a keen runner or just fancy a nice walk through the countryside, there is a route for everyone. On the day there will also be some amazing cakes and sandwiches along with tea and coffee served in the village hall for people to enjoy both before and after the run.

"The event takes its name from the beautiful scenery of this part of Worcestershire and offers something for everyone. For those that like a bit of a cross-country challenge, the full six mile route will fit the bill, but for those that prefer a less strenuous day out admiring the village and spring blossom, there is an alternative two mile fun run, jog or walk around the village."

The event is billed as being " suitable for all ages" and it will start at 11am.

Registration will be from 9am.
