WEST Mercia Police is appealing for information after a number of burglaries.

One of the incidents took place on Aqueduct Lane in Alvechurch at approximately 8:25pm on Tuesday, December 16.

The offenders forced entry into the property and caused damage to the rear of the property.

Items of jewellery, a fire-axe and two engraved medals, including a C.B.E. medal and a West Midlands Fire Service long service medal were stolen from the property.

Three people were seen running from the address and a vehicle with distinctive roof bars was seen leaving the area.

The second incident took place on Charles Street in the Webheath area of Redditch between the hours of 10am and 4pm on Friday, December 16.

The offenders forced entry into the property and stole gold jewellery and cash.

Anyone with information is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101 and ask for Redditch Proactive CID, quoting the incident reference 689 of December 16 for the incident in Alvechurch and 444 of December 19 for the incident in Redditch.
