POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a motorbike rider crashed into a wheelie bin which had been left lying in the road in Redditch.
A 23-year-old man was riding in Rickyard Lane in the direction of Battens Drive between 12.20am and 1am on Tuesday, November 18 when he crashed into a wheelie bin lying in the road.
He suffered injuries to his shoulder and had to be taken to hospital.
Another car was in the area at the time and the driver, a woman, spoke to the victim.
Police are keen to speak to her to help with their enquiries and are encouraging her to contact them.
A 19-year-old man from the town was arrested following the crash and is on bail until Thursday, December 18 following further enquiries.
