WITNESSES are being sought after a 70-year-old woman had her bag snatched in Hollywood.
The incident took place on Thursday, December 11 at approximately 1.15pm outside the Select and Save Supermarket on Hollywood Lane.
The woman had just left the supermarket when she walked to her car and put her handbag on the passenger seat. She then began to drive away when a man opened the passenger door and took her hand bag.
He was described as white and in his early 20s. He was wearing a black jacket, black tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe and a black woolly hat and was seen leaving in the direction of Corbett Road.
The woman was uninjured in the incident but was left feeling shaken and upset.
Police ask anyone who may have seen the incident or may have any further information to contact police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting the incident reference 313s of 11th December.
