WEST Mercia Police are now recruiting police cadets for next year.
Anyone who is aged 16 or over and is interested in policing can attend a seminar at Hindlip Hall near Worcester on Thursday, November 20 between 7pm and 9pm.
The seminar allows potential cadets to meet serving police officers and current cadets, who will be on hand to answer questions.
To be eligible you must have finished secondary education and are eligible to start in September 2015 at a sixth form or other further education college or are ready to begin an apprenticeship or seek employment.
Joining the cadets provides an opportunity to learn about policing, a chance to volunteer at local events and make a difference to the community.
Cadets will gain a variety of skills and study towards a leadership and team skills qualification at level two, which is the equivalent to a GCSE A* to C grade.
