REDDITCH Swimming Club maintained their mid-table position in Division Two of the West Midlands Speedo League, 14th place - the same as last season - secured with a fourth-placed finish in the third and final gala.
It could have been better for the visitors at Bromsgrove, Redditch leading for the first 16 events before falling down the table.
Captain Paul Wilkes scored three wins with Laura Cranshaw and Lucy Knibbs adding two each together with victories for Dan Ruckwood, Danielle Harwood and Rob Stanley. There were relay wins for the 13/u girls medley, ladies' open medley and men's open free.
In the opening gala Redditch notched their best position - third, behind Northgate and Brierley Hill and above Leek, Bicester and Leighton Buzzard.
There were individual wins for Cranshaw, Wilkes, Knibbs, Stanley and Harwood and relay success for the ladies' open freestyle squad.
The second event saw Redditch fifth, Wilkes again leading the way with wins in the open age individual medley, butterfly and freestyle and Craig Newton winning the open breaststroke.
In Round One of the Worcester Winter League at Halesowen Wilkes was again the star taking the club's only wins in the open age freestyle, breaststroke and butterfly.
Stanley took seconds in the 13years backstroke and freestyle and Sophie Bridgman was second in the 11years fly.
Lydia May, David Green and the Open Medley relay squad took thirds.
