CYCLISTS in Alcester are being invited to have their bikes safety checked for free outside the Greig Hall, Gunnings Road on Saturday, November 1.
Goz”zard Bikes, a new Alcester-based business focused on servicing and repairs, will be carrying out the services.
Marcus Emerson, owner of Goz”zard Bikes will be carrying out the checks, he said: “We are particularly concerned that safety should not be forgotten. With so many rediscovering the joys and health benefits of cycling and bikes getting more advanced, we felt that a good way to raise awareness and actually do something about it, would be to offer free safety checks and make them accessible to anyone who rides a bike.
“The fun side of cycling should not be forgotten and we have a tandem that anyone can come and have a go on. We are also re-launching Alcester’s bike hire scheme”
Marcus will be regularly testing bikes during Saturday morning clinics on the car park of the Greig.
Everyone is invited to attend and have a free bike check.
