PEOPLE are being urged to get freakishly fit this Halloween.

Residents are invited to the Abbey Stadium on on Saturday, November 1 to enjoy a charity fun day.

All classes will cost nothing for members and non-members, in exchange for a small donation.

Free use of the gym will also be available. Classes will include things such as body attack, body combat, studio cycling, body tone and plenty more, to suit all exercise tastes.

Money and proceeds of the event will be going towards a charity 100K London to Brighton walk taking place in May 2015. Gym staff and members are taking part in the walk and raising cash for a host of charities including Cancer Research UK.

The council’s portfolio holder for leisure, Councillor Phil Mould said: “This is a great opportunity for residents to come and find out what facilities we have on offer here.

“It is also fantastic that we will be able to raise money for such a great cause whilst getting fit and having fun together.”

If people want to embrace the Halloween vibe at the event then they are welcome to go along in their scariest costumes and fancy dress.

All classes are in the studio, so booking is essential as there are only a limited number of spaces available for each session.
