AFTER 10 years of waking up the county, BBC Hereford and Worcester has announced that presenter Howard Bentham is leaving its breakfast show.

Howard will be replaced by Elliott Webb, who currently presents the mid-morning show on the station.

Meanwhile, Howard will be taking up a presenting role at BBC Radio Oxford.

Elliott will join Toni McDonald from November 3. Breakfast with Elliott and Toni will go out between out between 7am and 9am weekdays, with Elliott continuing to present his current phone in between 9am and 10am.

Toni will present the first hour of the breakfast show between 6am and 7am.

Malcolm Boyden will take over Elliott’s mid morning show which will run at the new time of 10am - 1pm.

Malcolm is well known to listeners of BBC Hereford & Worcester having presented the Sunday mid morning show for the last two years.

"They’ll be building on the great work Howard’s done in his time here - Howard’s made a huge contribution to the station over the past ten years, with many memorable stories and campaigns. We wish him well at BBC Radio Oxford.”
