RESIDENTS can do their weekly shop as well as give their views on local issues at the latest PACT meeting set to be held in a Redditch superstore.

Borough and county councillors and local police will be on hand as they host a drop in Partners and Communities Together (PACT) session in Tesco.

Residents from Astwood Bank and Feckenham, Crabbs Cross, Headless Cross and Oakenshaw and Webheath wards can catch the representatives in the Oakenshaw store, on October 9 between 11am and 2pm.

Redditch Council leader Bill Hartnett said: “These sessions are always popular because residents can give their opinions without going out of their way. I would encourage anyone in the store to stop and say hi as we are always keen to hear what you have to say on what’s good and not so good in the borough.”

Ward member for Headless Cross and Oakenshaw, Councillor Carole Gandy, said: “I look forward to chatting to my constituents again and am glad we can provide this opportunity for them to voice their opinions.

"It’s great to have discussions with residents and work out how we can all work together to make improvements to the town."
