REDDITCH Model Railway Club will be staging the 41st Redditch Model Railway Exhibition this month.

The event, at Trinity High School in Grove Street, will feature a number of well-known layouts including the debut of the club’s new exhibition layout Oakenshaw.

Other well known layouts include Poole-in-Wharfedale, Clarendon and Midchester City.

The club's Yorkshire based layout has taken more five years to build.

Construction has been avidly followed by many on the internet and this will be the first opportunity to see the layout in person.

There will also be a number of trade stands plus demonstration stands of railway modelling techniques.

The model railway exhibition is on September 20th and 21 from 10am with tickets costing £5 (senior citizens £4.50, children £3 and family £14).
