A REDDITCH man has been given the honour of Embalmer of the Year at a recent awards ceremony.
Rob Dyer, from A Dyer & Sons Funeral Directors, was voted Embalmer of the Year by the Good Funeral Guide at its awards evening held at The Beeches Conference Centre in Birmingham.
Mr Dyer has been part of the family-run funeral business for more than 50 years and a qualified embalmer for 30 years.
He said that he was over the moon at receiving this award and considers it to be a great honour.
The Good Funeral Awards celebrate the achievements of practitioners who, through a combination of high professionalism and human kindness, enable bereaved people to create great funerals.
