A PESTICIDE amnesty to rid gardens of dangerous chemicals will take place in Alcester.
On Saturday, August 30 between 10am to 12.30 residents are being asked to bring the pesticides to the town’s Waitrose.
From there they will be disposed properly, saving residents the journey, by taking them to Princess Drive Recycling Centre in Leamington Spa.
For safety reasons the amnesty cannot accept split, broken or leaking containers.
Alcester Bee Friendly Town has teamed up with Stratford Friends of the Earth and Waitrose in Alcester to put on this event.
