THERE is a new taste sensation in town after The Real China restaurant opened its doors in the Hub area of the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.

The restaurant, which offers an authentic Chinese dining experience can now be located next to the centre’s popular Nando’s restaurant.

Lunchtime menus offer a buffet style meal for £5.95 and an evening meal for £9.95 with a larger buffet including a sushi menu.

The opening of the restaurant was celebrated with a lion dance, which is a popular way to bless a new business in Chinese culture. The Redditch Chinese association was also present to offer Chinese crafts and calligraphy.

The Hub is Kingfisher’s new leisure and entertainment area, which currently hosts the seven-screen Vue cinema, a Pure Gym and food establishments including an upcoming American diner, Tinseltown.

Ken Williams, general manager of the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, said: “The opening of The Real China is part of our dedication to creating The Hub, a top class entertainment and dining area within the Kingfisher. We’re keen to transform the Kingfisher into a shopping and leisure destination for people in Redditch and the surrounding area where they can spend the day enjoying all of the facilities on offer.

“We urge residents to keep a look out for more exciting new developments within The Hub, which will be coming up over the next few months.”
