MORE than 200 people attended Alcester Court Leet’s charity concert at St Nicholas' Church.

Last year, the Court Leet raised £6000 throughout the year which was distributed in many local charitable organisations in need of money this included The Alcester Cafe which helps Alzheimer’s sufferers and their families.

Former High Bailiff John Mills said: “It is not bad considering that we were not trying too hard, the main thing we are trying to do is keep Alcester alive.”

The organisation was able to give £200 to each charity and this included Alcester’s scouts and guides.

The event was held on Saturday, July 26.
