YOUNG people from 216 (Redditch) Squadron have been honoured at a recent presentation evening.
The night allows the Squadron to award the cadets who have shown exemplary service and outstanding effort throughout the year.
The accolades included an award for academic achievement for Cadet Corporal Daniel Hine, an adventure training award for Cadet Corporal Jared Pugh, a best newcomer award for Cdt Rowan Mitchell and best bandsman for Cadet Corporal James Drew.
Cadet Sergeant Alfie Pavitt was awarded a new trophy this year, the William Mussen shield for Marksmanship, after his outstanding performance at a recent training weekend.
Cadet Corporal Daniel Hine was presented the award for best sports cadet, while Cadet Melyssa Vaughan was presented one of the highest regarded awards - best cadet.
The final award of the night was for the best cadet non-commisioned-officer for Cdt Flight Sergeant Berkley Hodge.
