THE Kingfisher Shopping Centre in Redditch is celebrating one year of its popular Craft & Vintage Fair by moving location from the upper floor of the centre to the Millward Square area.

Since starting one year ago, the fair has become a very popular event with 25 stalls at the most recent fair held last Saturday, July 12.

Stall owner Tony Shellam of Fossilcraft, who manufactures a wide range of fossil and mineral themed handmade jewellery said of the fair: “During our first year of trading at the Kingfisher Centre Vintage & Craft Fair our sales have been good, and we have developed great relationships with many of our customers - some return monthly to see what 'The Fossil man' has new on the stall.

“We love our new market position in Millward Square which promises to be more visible and accessible to Kingfisher visitors.

“Kingfisher staff are always helpful and it's good that the Craft traders are able to have a voice in how the Market is run and discuss any 'on the spot' issues”.

Katie Broome, marketing manager for the Kingfisher Centre, said: “We are always looking for new ways to engage with the community and the vintage fair allows us to work alongside local businesses to offer something a little different for our customers.

“We’re looking forward to building relationships with our stallholders and encourage any businesses that would be interested in running a stall to get in touch.”
