A FORMER headteacher has been cleared of possessing extreme porn pictures after the prosecution offered no evidence at a Worcester court.
David Doubtfire, former head of Walkwood Middle School, in Redditch, and Bredon Hill Middle School, near Evesham, appeared walking with the aid of crutches at Worcester Crown Court.
The 52-year-old thanked Judge Robert Juckes, QC, as he recorded a not guilty verdict on a charge of possessing extreme porn between September 8, 2012 and July 31 last year.
Doubtfire, of Whitehall Avenue, Bidford on Avon, Warwickshire, was given a conditional discharge for 12 months in June at Hereford Crown Court after he admitted a charge of voyeurism. He admitted peering at a 26-year-old woman underneath the door of a cubicle at a leisure centre in Evesham on July 17 last year.
He was also ordered to sign the sex offenders register for a year.
He resigned as head of Walkwood Middle School when the charges were brought.
