PUPILS from Trinity High School recently took part in a special BMX Workshop.

Built around the Olympic and Paralympic values, the event took place in school and was run by Team Extreme - one of the UK’s top professional extreme sports show teams.

A school spokesman said: "This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to take some risks and have an alternative experience and enabled them to experience some of the skills and techniques inherent to the Olympic sport of BMX racing.

"An excellent time was had by both students and staff. The students (and some staff) got stuck in and had a go and it was fantastic to see the progress made by students as their confidence grew."
