A GROUP of fitness enthusiasts led by a Redditch Borough Council officer took on a tough six mile mud run to raise cash for charity.
The 20-strong team, who train with British Military Fitness, faced the ultimate test in the Mudrunner Oblivion event at Eastnor Castle.
They tackled six gruelling miles of cross country and if that wasn't enough, they also had to complete several tests of strength, endurance and co-ordination.
Led by council worker Adrian Guida-Jones, the group raised more than £1,600 for St Richard’s Hospice, which provides palliative care for patients living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
She said: “The Oblivion Mud run was fantastic fun but was challenging and exhausting for some of those who had never entered one before."
