A REDDITCH man has been cleared at Worcester Crown Court on a charge of breaking into a house in the town with intent to steal.
Prosecutor Ben Close offered no evidence against 27-year-old Gavin Casey, of Sandhurst Close, Redditch, when he appeared on remand.
Mr Casey had denied burglary at Garway Close on March 2 this year and Judge Michael Cullum recorded a not guilty verdict.
Mr Close said it now appeared that Casey had permission to enter the premises.
Another man had pleaded guilty to the burglary and will be sentenced next month.
