A COUPLE have recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary surrounded by their family.
Jean and Graham Watts, who have lived in Wythall for the last 50 years, married on June 12, 1954 at the Christadelphian Church in the south of Birmingham. Mr Watts was 21 and his wife-to-be was 19.
The couple now have three daughters, six grandchildren, and one great grandson
They celebrated their Diamond Wedding anniversary with their family, which was followed by a hotel break in the Cotswolds.
They received a surprise on their return, a card from the Queen congratulating them on their 60 years together.
Daughter Ruth Ashley described her parents as "wonderful".
