AS part of Redditch celebrating 50 years since it became a New Town, and 100 years since the First World War, all middle and high school pupils are being invited to enter a competition.
It will challenge them to illustrate the theme of Redditch, the One World Town - Unity in Diversity.
This is the title of a seminar being arranged by Redditch One World Link and others, to be held on Saturday, October 18 at Redditch Town Hall.
The students taking part in the competition can choose how to express themselves, whether this be writing an essay on the title of the seminar, produce some artwork to illustrate Unity in Diversity, or create a poem about Redditch being a One World Town.
All entries need to be send to the town hall, in Alcester Street, FAO of One World Link, by the end of September.
Selected entries will be put on display in the town hall on the day of the seminar and winning entries will be awarded a prize.
