THE roof of a thatched cottage in Ardens Grafton has been completely destroyed following a fire last week.
The fire was reported at 9.55am on the morning of Friday, June 6, and five appliances were sent out to tackle the blaze from Alcester, Bidford, Stratford and Wellesbourne.
Two support appliances also attended the fire, and firefighters used breathing apparatus and ladders.
No-one was injured during the course of the fire, and crews stayed in attendance for several hours.
