THE bunting and flags are up ready for a Redditch Sanctuary Care home’s ‘street party’, which is being held to mark National Care Home Open Day.
Friday, June 20 is a day when care homes across the UK throw open their doors to invite people along to share a special day, forging lasting links between their residents and the local communities.
To mark the occasion, Brambles Residential Care Home will be opening its doors from 11am until 4pm for a party in the home’s gardens.
The gardens will be decked in bunting and flags galore, with live music from the golden era between 11am and noon. Refreshments will be available throughout the day.
Brambles is situated in Birchfield Road, Headless Cross, Redditch B97 4LX.
