THE Activ8 programme is back and packed full of fun things for the whole family to get involved in this summer, come rain or shine.
Redditch Council's new look brochure contains information on local sporting activities, free activities in the parks, street theatre, museum events and the Summer Sizzle Holiday Camp.
This year also features the new ‘kitemark’; a local stamp that ensures activities are being run by fully qualified, safety checked coaches.
Councillor Bill Hartnett, leader of the council, said: “Make sure you pick up a copy of this year’s Activ8 for a round up of all the great things happening across the summer for all age groups.
"Look out for our new kitemark and have confidence that our activities are being run by fully qualified coaches.
"Don’t let the rain stop you enjoying all the fun events and activities available this summer.”
Brochures can be found online at redditchbc.gov.uk/activ8 or pick up a copy from Redditch Town Hall, Abbey Stadium, the Palace Theatre, schools, Children’s Centres, Forge Mill Museum, Pitcheroak Golf Club and community centres.
