OVER the weekend of June 14 and 15, the North Worcestershire Vintage Tractor and Engine Club will once again be holding their annual vintage gathering at the premises of S E Davis, Edgioake Lane, Astwood Bank

As usual the show will offer a wide and varied display of vehicles and attractions including steam traction engines, tractors, classic cars, military and commercial vehicles but this year the event also has a number of additional special attractions.

These include Giants of Agriculture and Construction, which will be an opportunity to see some of the larger machinery from the S E Davis collection of agricultural and earthmoving equipment in the show ring - ground conditions permitting.

There will also be a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire Flypast (BBMF).

The BBMF is one of the most iconic air display teams in the world, its aircraft are highly prized and their limited flying hours extremely precious.

A spokesman said: "Accordingly, we are enormously privileged to have been accepted to receive a flypast by an RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire as part of the vintage gathering on Sunday afternoon.

"This display should will provide an exciting spectacle in the skies of North Worcestershire and a poignant reminder of the sacrifice made by our armed forces in the Second World War."

In addition to the above, there are also fairground attractions, trade stands, crafts and models, assuring a fun day out for all the family.

Gates open at 10am each day with proceeds in support of The Midland Air Ambulance Charity.
