HOT wheels and daft costumes were in abundance for Alcester's fourth annual pram race on May 25.
With competitors dressed as Can Can girls, 118 118 guys and posh hunts folk, their uniquely constructed prams and vehicles dashed round the streets and pubs to raise funds for two local causes.
Redditch-based fitness instructors Outdoor Physical Training warmed up the wacky prammers with a workout with many of the town's dignitaries watching, including the mayor and high bailiff of Alcester.
With the town crier Dave Parkes setting them on their way, more than £300 was raised to be split between the town hall and Alcester Children's Activities.
The winners were Team Skid Marcs for the second year running, and a close second were Alcester Scouts who are raising money for a trip to Japan.
Prizes were also given out for most pimped out pram, and heaviest baby.
