A STUDLEY based independent business energy broker has been shortlisted for two prestigious energy purchasing and management consultancy awards.

ENER-G Procurement has reached the final of the Energy Live News Awards (TELCA) in both the large consultancy of the year, and industrial and commercial most trusted consultancy categories.

Mark Alston, director of ENER-G Procurement, said: "We're enormously proud to have reached the national final of the highly respected TELCA awards. Our achievement is all the sweeter in that it was our customers who nominated us for the large consultancy of the year award.

"We believe that ENER-G leads the industry in terms of fair play and transparency. Buying energy is much more than securing the best price on gas and electricity. We work closely with business customers to understand their needs and provide an energy procurement strategy that meets their precise objectives."

ENER-G Procurement is a founding member of energy broker watchdog the Utilities Intermediaries Association and has championed consumer rights for many years.

Award winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on June 19 later this year.
