THE Little Lark Public House in Studley has officially re-launched and is once again open to the public.

Following a brief revamp and a change in ownership and management, visitors are invited to enjoy the varied cask ales and food on offer.

The launch marks a change in ownership with new manager David Abbott at the helm welcoming all those who enjoy beer, wines, food and a real pub atmosphere.

He said: "We didn't want to see this established local village pub lose its charm and great reputation. There's a great sense of community associated with The Lark so we have set about reestablishing it as 'the local' and welcoming back the loyal old patrons, and new faces alike, to build and uphold the pub's thriving reputation."

This former Mad O'Rourke pub has a very potted history with the framed newspaper front pages adorning the walls, and the old machines situated throughout the pub, painting a picture of its past as a former printing press.

The pub's menu includes the famous Desperate Dan Cow and Calf Pie.
