A YOUNG timelord from Pitcheroak School has been given "the one thing he always wanted" after being presented with a life-size Dalek he won through a Doctor Who magazine competition.
Kurt Woodage, aged nine, had to collect tokens and answer a question on his favourite TV show.
Kurt suffers from autism and proud mum Rebecca said that the time travelling doctor is her son's obsession.
"He's got everything there is to get when it comes to Doctor Who, from the trading cards to a TARDIS. I'm always hearing about it and after he won the Dalek he told me it was the one thing he always wanted," she explained.
Moray Laing, editor of Doctor Who Adventures magazine, paid a visit the school to make the presentation and to talk to the children about working on the magazine.
He said: “We thought that giving away a Dalek was the ultimate prize for someone who loves Doctor Who, which is why we held the competition in Doctor Who Adventures magazine.
"It was great to meet such a huge Doctor Who fan and drop off the Dalek to Kurt at his school. We've been assured the Dalek is house trained and won't exterminate any of his family or friends.”
The Dalek currently resides in his new home in the Woodage family's living room.
Kurt also recently went on a trip to see the Doctor Who set in Cardiff, where filming is taking place with new doctor Peter Capaldi for the upcoming TV series.
