STUDLEY Castle is playing host this weekend to a fundraising event for Cancer Research UK.
The event, on Sunday, May 4, has been organised by Christianne Fletcher who has paid for everything in advance, and is hoping for a good turnout.
The fun begins at 1pm with a DJ setting up in the lounge area of Studley Castle, and beautician offering treatments in the Hollyoak or Garden Room.
A magician will be on hand to entertain, along with bouncy castles and the band Maxed Out.
There will be a raffle with prizes including a night’s stay at Studley Castle, a £20 voucher for a local butcher, jewellery, vouchers for fish and chips and for a carvery, as well as several fun smaller prizes.
Photographer Paul Stringer will also be at the event, charging for photos taken in his pop-up photography studio.
Entry to the day is £1 per person, with raffle tickets for £1.
