A CELEBRATION of the music of Michael Ball will be coming to Redditch's Palace Theatre for one night only later this month.

The salute to the king of the West End musical pays tribute to his greatest hits, including the stirring Empty Chairs And Empty Tables and Bring Him Home from Les Miserables, the haunting Gesthemene from Jesus Christ Superstar and the glorious ‘This Is The Moment from Jekyll & Hyde.

Michael Courtney, one of the UK’s finest singers and guest artists, together with his live band, will perform two hours of Michael Ball Bliss, raiding a wonderful back catalogue of concert favourites and featuring classics such as Holding Out For A Hero and One Night Only.

And for the finale - it could only be the song that shot Michael Ball to fame, Love Changes Everything, from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Aspects of Love.

Michael Courtney has appeared in acclaimed theatre productions in the West End and on tour, including playing Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Edmund in King Lear.

He has also toured with Jasper Carrot, Anne Charleston and Gene Pitney.

The special performance is on Friday, May 23.
