A LARGE TV was stolen during a burglary at a house in Redditch.
It happened at a house in Martley Close between the afternoon of Tuesday, April 22, and the early evening of Monday, April 28.
The 52-inch widescreen flat LCD TV, believed to be worth about £3,000, was stolen from an upstairs bedroom. Also taken was the power lead and the remote control.
It is not known how the house was broken into but there is a footpath at the back and the occupant discovered a rear window open.
Police are looking for anyone who saw people carrying a large TV in that area between the relevant times as the location of the property means vehicles cannot be parked close to it.
Leaflets letting residents know about the burglary and appealing for help have been delivered to homes in the area.
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact Detective Constable Cheryl Jones at West Mercia Police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 625-s-280414 or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
West Mercia Police’s website has information on steps to take to reduce the risk of burglary at westmercia.police.uk.
