A BRAVE youngster from Studley has had her gorgeous long hair chopped off in order to help others in need.
Lucy Jones, aged 11, who attends Studley Junior School, had her plaits cut off in aid of the Little Princess Trust which uses donated real hair to make wigs for youngsters who have lost their hair through chemotherapy.
She found out about the charity at her school, and was inspired by the encouragement of her friends to make the decision to have her long hair cut.
Her sister Charlotte said: "She hoped that it would be beneficial to the children who were going through chemotherapy."
