REDDITCH residents are in for a treat this Easter with a host of activities for kids and adults alike to enjoy.

On Wednesday, April 16, children are invited to take in their Easter bonnets at noon in Worcester Square and enter them into a competition – to be judged by Kids Club Mascot Charlie The Monkey – for a chance to win a toy bundle from toyshop The Entertainer.

Meanwhile in Millward Square, next to BHS, an inflatable slide will be erected until April 27 for children who like to engage in more energetic activities. If that isn’t enough, between April 22-27 the bungee activity will be back in Worcester Square.

Elsewhere in the centre, The Entertainer will be running an in-store Easter egg hunt throughout the Easter holidays, with prizes ranging from Easter eggs up to a £150 Entertainer gift card for the overall winner, alongside various other activities.

Over Easter weekend whilst the shops close for Easter Sunday, those who still want to get out and about and forego the Easter eggs can come along to The Hub in the centre. Pure Gym, Vue Cinema and the recently opened Nando’s will each be open throughout the day.

Kingfisher Shopping Centre marketing manager Katie Broome said: “Here in the centre we like to make sure our visitors have the best experience possible.

"Along with our Easter bonnet competition, many of the stores will be putting on demonstrations and activities to make it a great Easter holiday for all to enjoy.”
