BRITISH Transport Police are appealing for information after a man exposed himself and carried out an indecent act on board a train before getting off at Wooton Wawen Station.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify as they believe he will have key information about the incident which took place on Tuesday, February 11 on board a Birmingham Moor Street – Stratford-upon-Avon service.

Investigating officer PC James Ainley said: “The victim reported seeing a man carry out an indecent act while on board the train. She informed the train manager who called police but the man left the train at Wooton Wawen station at about 3.30pm.

“I am now appealing for the public’s help to identify the man in this photograph as I believe he can assist the investigation. This was an intimidating and upsetting experience for the victim. British Transport Police does not tolerate unwanted sexual behaviour of any kind on the rail network and we take all reports extremely seriously."
