NEWLY-PROMOTED Bank have bolstered their batting power for the Birmingham and District League Division Three by drafting in Brandon Miller.
Former Studley skipper Miller has joined Bank as they look to build on last year’s title success in the Worcestershire League Division Two.
He has played in the Birm-ingham League for a number of years.
Captain Steve Adshead said: “Brandon is a quality batsman who will improve us.
“Last season, we were very strong in the bowling, so we know if we can get a few runs on the board, we can win matches.”
Astwood will start the season on Saturday, April 26 (noon start) at home to Milford Hall. Preparations step up with a warm-up match against Haborne and an inter-club game.
