THE inquest has opened into the death of a Redditch teenager who died after being rescued from a river in Redditch.
Richard James Fellows, who was 15, and lived in Brockhill, got into difficulty while swimming with friends in the River Arrow, near Forge Mill Museum, on Sunday, March 16.
Emergency services were called and he was taken to the Alexandra Hospital but sadly died.
Richard's inquest was opened on Thursday, March 20 by the coroner for Worcestershire.
