FANS of Buddy Holly are being urged not to miss a very special show at Reddich's Palace Theatre.

Buddy and the Bootleg Crickets will be taking audience members on journey through all the hits and classic Rock 'n' Roll songs, as Steve Taylor lovingly recreates the legend that was Buddy Holly.

Steve is an accomplished international singer/songwriter with several chart hits to his name and is a proud owner of an award presented by Sir Paul McCartney at the Buddy Holly week celebrations.

When he takes the stage, he really does become Buddy Holly and every word, every note and every inflection are tribute to the star.

The Bootleg Crickets are also accomplished performers and recording artists in their own right, and like Steve have worked with major artists and toured throughout the world.

Together they faithfully recreate that unmistakable vocal sound and live feel of the music.

A spokesman said: "You’ll really believe that you’re back in the 50s at one of the Buddy Holly and the Crickets shows. Steve even plays his beloved Strat the same way as Buddy."

The show is on Friday, April 4.

Tickets are available in person or at the Palace box office on 01527 65203 priced £18.75 (£16.75 discounted rate) inclusive of booking fee 75p per seat up to a maximum £3.
