PLANS that will decide on spending aimed at boosting the economy in Warwickshire have been endorsed.
Warwickshire County Council yesterday (March 13) endorsed the Coventry and Warwickshire Strategic Economic Plan (CWSEP) and European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) Strategy.
Councillor Izzi Seccombe, leader of Warwickshire County Council, said: “Coventry and Warwickshire’s economic plan is key to the growth of the region. Warwickshire is fully committed to working with Coventry to achieve the aims set within the plan and we fully endorse its contents and the ambitions it has for all of our residents and businesses.”
The plan will now go to the board of the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership Board for approval later in the month.
