APPROXIMATELY a dozen cannabis plants were seized by police who found them growing in an upstairs bedroom at a rental property in Redditch.

Police were contacted by estate agents checking the property in Cherrington Close, Matchborough, and officers from the Winyates and Church Hill Safer Neighbourhood Teams went to the scene shortly before 5pm on Monday, March 10.

The cannabis plants were seized along with associated growing equipment.

No arrests have been made at this time but inquiries are continuing.
