IT is not often that an Academy Award winning director previews a new film in Alcester, but that is just what is happening next month.
Peter Fudakowski produced the film Tsotsi, a story about a young street thug from Johannesburg who finds a baby in a the back of a car he steals, and which won the Oscar for best foreign film in 2006,
Peter will be at St Benedict’s Catholic High School Sixth Form Centre on Wednesday, April 30 to hold a preview screening and Q&A session about his new film, Secret Sharer, which follows the tale of a Polish sea captain who rescues a Chinese damsel in distress from the ocean.
Tickets cost £10 per adult, which includes a glass of wine and nibbles. Children's tickets are £6 and the certificate of the film is 12A.
