YOUNGSTERS in Redditch are being invited to apply for a dream job with a difference.

Fayre & Square pub the New Tardebigge, on Hewell Lane, is looking for fun-loving, enthusiastic and opinionated children to join a board of 10 mini directors to sit alongside the company’s top bosses to help design the new children’s menu.

Youngsters will spend the day working with chefs to create new dishes as well as design the look and style of the menu.

For taking part, each chosen child will receive a Merlin Annual Pass, a family party at their local pub, and a Wacky VIP Gold Card which entitles them to unlimited access to the play centre for 12 months.

Robert Taylor, from the New Tardebigge, has teamed up with soft play provider Wacky Warehouse, said: “Children are known for making their voices heard but they’re not always listened to, so we decided to mix things up and give the kids a chance to call the shots for a change.

“With our board of little leaders we want the kids to tell the adults what to do for a change, and to help develop the kids menu that they want.

“If your child is bubbly and wants to have a say in the food they’re eating and the equipment they’re playing on, we want to hear from them.”

Those interested must be aged between five and eight and must be available on April 10
