A REDDITCH man is appearing in court today in connection with an incident on a bridge in the town.
The man, aged 24, was charged last night with causing a public nuisance, possessing an offensive weapon, assaulting a police officer and theft.
He was due to appear before Worcester magistrates.
The charges relate to an incident in which a man was threatening to jump from a bridge over Woodrow Drive, close to the town’s Alexandra Hospital and Kingsley College, on Monday.
