Thinking of taking the plunge and starting your own business?
Stratford District Council has teamed up with the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce to offer support to new business entrepreneurs in the form of free half-day business start-up workshops.
The workshops are designed to help entrepreneurs within the Stratford District convert their ideas into reality and could be useful to anybody wanting to start their own business, whatever its type or size.
The Stratford-based workshops begin on April 8 at the council’s headquarters at Elizabeth House, Church Street, and will be held on a monthly basis.
They will cover all aspects of starting a new business from personal skills, financial commitments and legal issues to business plans and business structure. Participants will also have the opportunity to see an experienced and qualified business advisor for one-to-one support throughout their start up journey.
Councillor Maurice Howse, portfolio holder for enterprise housing and revenues said: "New business start-ups are fundamental to the wider economy and growth for the district.
"We hope that as many new businesses entrepreneurs as possible will take advantage of attending one of these free workshops to help them on their way to a successful and sustainable business.”
