A MUCH-loved stall holder from Redditch market has died after a battle with cancer.
David Bullen and his wife Sue ran the key cutting and shoe repair stall in the market, which traded under the name of Paynes, for 17 years, and were still there up until a week before Christmas.
Mrs Bullen said: "I wanted to let people who didn't already know, that after a really hard fought battle, David died two weeks ago.
"And to those market traders and customers who have been so supportive since David passed away, I would just like to thank you from the bottom of my heart."
Mr Payne died on February 17 at Sandwell Hospital.
