RESIDENTS are being invited back to the mid 1920s, to when toffs were toffs and money was for spending.

Theatre company Inkberrow Players will be staging the farce Tons of Money, written by Will Evans and Valentine and adapted by Alan Ayckbourn, at Inkberrow Village Hall, for three nights.

Aubrey Allington and his wife Louise are living on credit until a relative bequeaths them tons of money.

Cue the bright ideas, feigned deaths, false identities, and even a bunch of funny looking Mexicans, as the Allingtons, the Butler and various relatives conspire to confuse themselves chasing after the money.

The show runs from Thursday, February 20 until Saturday, February 22.

Tickets cost £7.50 and can be bought from the Inkberrow Post Office and The Forge Shop, Inkberrow.
