KINGFISHER Shopping Centre will be keeping boredom at bay for all children during half term week.

From Monday, February 17 through to Sunday, February 23, children will be offered the opportunity to take part in a host of activities held within the Centre.

In Worcester Square, a fun bungee activity will be a fixture from Monday to Sunday, for those feeling energetic.

And on the Wednesday and Thursday, the RSPB will hold a series of craft workshops – including making dragonflies and insects - between 10am and 4pm to bring out the children’s creative side.

For fans of LEGO, Vue Cinemas Redditch will be inviting youngsters to build their own LEGO sculpture, then bring then along to the cinema on the Wednesday between noon and 2pm, to be judged by Charlie the Monkey – Kingfisher Shopping Centre’s Kids Club mascot.

Merchandise for The LEGO Movie from Warner Bros – in cinemas from February 14 – will be on offer for the best sculpture made.

Kingfisher marketing manager, Katie Broome, said: “At this time of year, when the weather is generally cold and wet, there are often very few things for children to do during the school holidays. At the Kingfisher we want to make sure the children enjoy their time off and we have the space within the centre to be able to put on exciting activities.

"Our activities will be suitable for all children of school age so we’re inviting them and their parents to come down and have a great time."
